GBH are a UK82 band who get asked back time after time, and fans know what to expect – hard, fast punk rock tunes like No Survivors, Slit Your Own Throat and Big Women. Hopefully they’ll bring their whole show – more theatre than punk rock – as they wheel out classics like Joker In The Pack, Smart Alex and Viva La Revolution. Nick: I’ve looked through [Wikipedia] a couple of times and thought, “where the fuck did they get that from? I don’t diss the original guts of the song, I just diss the fact that I fucked them up in my own stupidity. The intention [with forming the band] was literally to try and smarten me act up a little bit, but unfortunately, it backfired a bit.Unfortunately, because I sung the song, ‘I’m an Animal’ – and got me into trouble, that one – ‘Animal’ sort of stuck and I didn’t like it, but I couldn’t do much about it really. Further personnel changes occurred in 1997 when Winston left the band to be replaced by Jon Jon, and the recording of the album Scum.

I’m not the average punk rocker, but I’m somewhere like the bastard child somewhere I think, at the second generation of punk, should we say. And don’t forget So What, the obscenity-laden B-side which saw their single Streets Of London banned, and was covered by Metallica! At the 2012 Download Festival, the band appeared on the Pepsi Max stage hours before Metallica filled the main stage as headliners. He was just flying the flag of… I always thought that Motorhead were sort of like the punk side of metal, and that Anti-Nowhere League were the metal side of punk. This year’s second headliners are clockwork punks The Adicts, from Ipswich, who haven’t played the all-dayer in quite a few years.

One large piece (4cm) missed his main artery by millimetres, he was told he is very lucky to be alive. The band first played at the 1980 Chaos Show at St Mark's Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells on 31 March 1980. There is talk of Australia, but I think they’re sitting there waiting to see if the album’s successful or not. We were back heavy into drugs and stuff again, and it was the same old thing: I was trying to escape from the bikes. Imagine this: you secure an interview with your favourite punk singer of all time, prepare some awesome questions that span the near-forty year history of the band, and within minutes you realise he has just written a book about his life and is – quite fairly – reluctant to spill all the beans!

November 1981 saw the release of their first single, a cover version of Ralph McTell's " Streets of London". Expect a set full of hard-hitting, heart-on-the-sleeve anthems like Looking For Glory, No Regrets and One More Drink from the four-piece, who include Cock Sparrer’s Daryl Smith on guitar. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. This line-up released the band's fifth studio album, Kings and Queens in 2005, which was released on the Captain Oi!However, after the 25 October show, Mark joined that year on lead guitar, and 1993–1995 was spent playing gigs in the small venues the band had started out in.

Anti-Nowhere League are an English punk rock band, formed in 1979 by lead singer Animal (Nick Culmer), guitarist Magoo (Chris Exall), Bones (Tony Shaw) on drums and Chris Elvy on bass. It’s with sad heart that we have to report a near fatal incident involving the Anti Nowhere League’s lead singer known as Animal (real name Nick Culmer). They released an album and three well-received EPs in their early 80s heyday, before splitting in 1985, but reformed a couple of years ago and recently released a new 10in EP. Certainly when you get later on in life, you think, ‘fuck me, that was what it was all about,’ – I think it’s a good vehicle for that.

He was rushed to hospital and following the assault, and following two surgeries had all the glass removed from his face and neck.
